I’ve read hundreds of books so far but no book captivated me between it’s pages like ‘The Blue Book’ did. For the first time, I failed to return this book on time to the library not because I didn’t complete reading it, but because I reread each and every page and some lines, I read more than ten times. Wow.. Just Wow!
When I picked this book from the library, I must admit I chose it because of it’s name, ‘The Blue Book’ and blue is my favorite color. Another reason is, the book is in blue color. I couldn’t resist and I had to read it. When I got into the taxi, I opened the first page and I have to tell you, I fell in love.. instantly.
It’s a story about love, loss, second chance. Beth finding her way back to Arthur, is absolutely heart-melting. The protagonist, Arthur, what a character? I wonder why such characters are only fictional. It’s a little dark, I would say but I am totally in love with him. The most amazing thing about this book is, the author wrote every single thought in such a way, I couldn’t stop myself from pausing my life for a few seconds to rethink and appreciate how those particular thoughts resemble mine.
BLUE is officially my favorite color all over again.
