The Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morgenthaler – Book Review

The Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morgenthaler is a feast to the reader. This is a beautiful story placed in a small town in Alaska named Moose Springs. After reading this book, I so want to go to Moose Springs and have a small vacation, all thanks to the author for the wonderful details she included about the town in the book.

Graham is a local of Moose Springs who runs a cage named ‘The Tourist Trap’. He loves his small town and hates when tourists come and spoil the peace among the locals. Long time ago, he made a rule of ‘no tourist’ policy for his own dating life. But all the caution flies right out of the window when he lays his eyes on Zoey, who comes to visit the town for two weeks on a vacation.

Zoey and Graham fall hard and fast for each other. I couldn’t help but fall in love with both Jake, Graham’s pet dog and Ulysses, the town’s moose. They play a key role in bringing Zoey and Graham together. Though Graham initially builds walls to put Zoey at distance, he eventually gives in. And for all the romantics out there, there is a proper filmy ending to this story that you wouldn’t wanna miss.

There is also a little drama around the town is losing its economy and the locals completely going against the privatization of the town and its local businesses.

This book is going to be released on May 5th, 2020. A perfect read for summer. Being a traveler myself, I loved this book so much. Cover illustration by Kristen Solecki is very cute. Thank you Sourcebooks and Sarah Morgenthaler for sharing the ARC copy with me.

Run With It by ML Nystrom – Book Review

Run With It by ML Nystrom is the first book of A McAteer Brothers book series. I’ve read every single book of Dragon Runner MC Series by this author, from Mute to Brick and I must say, she is one of my favorite authors. I totally enjoyed every single book.

Now, after reading Run With It, I cant wait to read the next books in the series. Ms Mystrom has a way of gripping the reader from the first page till the last. This book is particularly close to my heart where she tells the story of a single mother Beverly Archer who is struggling to make the ends meet and be there for her kids all by herself. Connor McAteer is the neighbor who is always there for Beverly and her four children in every way.

It takes really long time for the both of them to look past their friendship and realize their love for each other, but, in the end, they have their happily ever after. The female leads are strong and independent in Nystrom’s novels and the male leads definitely hold a special place in my heart. The way they treat their women brings tears to my eyes. They never leave the hand of their love and family, no matter what.

Being a single mother myself, I know what it is like to raise a child all by yourselves, meeting the financial needs and emotional needs of the kids. I loved the dedication in the beginning from the author and I fell in love with her all over again. Its a beautiful book.

Tempt Me by Diane Demetre – Book Review

Tempt Me by Diane Demetre is a romantic story of Michele.

Michele is a forty-two year old woman who is recently divorced. She decides to explore her singledom passionately. She meets Mark who is a said under cover cop. He unveils a sexual side of Michele which she never knew existed in herself. After a week, Mark goes back to his wife.

Michele meets another special man Nick who woes her. Though Michele thinks that he is not her type in the beginning, Nick proves her wrong.
The story is all about where these both intriguing men stand in Michele’s life by the end of the story.

These two men play a very important role in Michele’s life. There are many erotic scenes in the book. The three girlfriends of Michele are wonderful and supporting. The story as a whole is entertaining but I didn’t see the end coming. A quick read but not my kind of book..

Held As His Pet by Vonna Harper – Book Review

Held As His Pet by Vonna Harper is an entertaining book. Sara and Tanner are an amazing couple. The story is set up in a fiction land where Sara and Tanner who belong to enemy nations happen to fall in love with each other. Sara is held as a captive by Tanner and he tries to get the truth out of her by using various methods. There are a lot of erotic scenes in the novel between Sara and Tanner where Sara finds her submissive side.

There is a mention of BDSM at few places which goes very well with the story.

Sara is a strong and independent woman who is in search of the truth behind the death of her brother who is presumed to be dead in the enemy nation.

Tanner is a handsome male lead with strong dominant characteristics, and yet loyal and truthful at heart.

This is not just a simple erotic novel, but there is a strong story line that cannot be missed. I totally loved the story. Out and out entertainment and if you are someone into hot scenes, I promise you that the story will leave you all hot and bothered.
