Girl From The Tree House by Gudrun Frerichs is an extra ordinary thriller. I believe the author being a psychotherapist herself wrote this story in a great detail especially in the perspective of a person who is suffering from Dissociative Identity Disaster. I can’t imagine how much of a shock it is for anyone who realized how false her whole thirty years of life was.
I loved every single personality of Elizabeth. The multiple personalities inside Elizabeth call themselves ‘The Tribe’ and they each come to the rescue of Elizabeth on various occasions. Elizabeth’s fight for her sanity and freedom is incredible.
Girl From The Tree House is the most complex story I read in the recent times but don’t let the complex get you. I’m sure every single reader can relate themselves to at least one or two of the multiple personalities of Elizabeth. A well written and extremely insightful book. Definitely one of the best psychological thriller released this year.

Laguna by A’gata Green is a little different from regular psychological thrillers. I would say, it is more passionate thriller. Anastasia falls head over heels for Alejandro. There is love, passion and craze in their relationship, but there is a lack of commitment from Alejandro. Anastasia waits almost all her life for this but Alejandro keeps coming and going. Talking about the title of the book, Laguna is particularly a ssexual technique that very few men know. There are some scenes in the book the explain this technique in detail but I personally refuse to call this book erotic just because of this title. This book is so much more than erotic. The pain that the female goes through is well described by the author, the wait and the hopelessness made my heart clench.
Laguna is about a woman’s love, heartbreak and mending it.

GONE by Jeannie van Rompaey is a very unique book, one of its kind. The books is initially established in UK where a small family of four lives happily. Sarah and Alec raise their twins Kate and Ben in a very healthy environment. When another pair of twins visit them from USA to live with them for the holidays, the entire story turns into a nightmare for Sarah and Alec. Kate and Ben develop a strong bond with the American twins and eventually they leave to US on a so-called holiday but never come back.
Alec leaves to US in search of the twins and discovers a variety of truths about religious groups, cults and other strange groups. Sarah, on the other hand, realizes that she is never going to see the twins again in her life, drowns herself in art, painting and eventually gets herself busy in exhibitions. Alec finds a homeless young man of Ben’s age in US and brings him home and fosters him. Alec’s presence in UK with Sarah gradually decreases and he starts spending more time in US since Alec finds relief in taking care of the youngman.
Sarah falls in love with a widower Oumar. Sarah finds peace in bonding with Oumar’s fourteen-year-old daughter. Sarah decides to ask for a divorce from Alec but finds a conflict in her heart when she learns about Alec’s little secret, his foster son.
The story is very gripping with a lot of pain, grief, hope and love. If you ever loved someone and lost them, you must read this book. I liked how the author shown the characters of the story dealing with grief in different ways. Very engaging book and beautifully written.

Table by ML Nystrom is a wonderful book just like the previous three books in the series. ML Nystrom never seizes to surprise me with her wonderful narration. The best thing about her books is every single book from her pen has a very strong female lead character. I totally wanted to read the story of Table when his name came up in the second book Stud. I’m glad the author wrote it for fans like me. Lori is trying to hide from a terrible past when she bumps into the handsome single father Table. Lori finds herself in love with Table’s daughter, little Angel and Table, too. Table understands her fears and makes sure of Lori’s safety and fights for her. The story is very engaging. Table is a wonderful person, who keeps his promises and stands in the way of danger to protect his family. I was not much into MC romance stories previously, but after reading ML Nystrom’s books, I think I’ve changed my mind. I’m totally in love with Table. I hope there are more such wonderful stories coming from the author.
The Dragon Runners Series
I’ve had stories in my head since I was a child. All sorts of stories of fantasy, romance, mystery and anything else that captured my interest. I’m a voracious reader, and have spent many hours in my life devouring books, therefore it’s only fitting I should write a few myself!
I’ve spent most of my life as a performing musician and band instrument repair technician, but that doesn’t mean I’m pigeon-holed into one mold. I’ve been a university professor, belly dancer, craftsperson, soap maker, singer, rock band artist, jewelry maker, lifeguard, swim coach, and whatever else I feel like exploring. As one of my students said to me once, “Life’s too short to ignore the opportunities.” I have no intention of ever stopping so welcome to my story world. I hope you enjoy it!
