Another Shot by Stephen Anthony Brotherton by is an interesting novel. Jo-Jo comes searching for Freddie almost after thirty years. After their teenage love affair, they parted ways and moved on with their lives. How does the reentry of Jo-Jo in Freddie’s life affect him?
The rekindling of their love brings back so many memories, untold feelings and apologies. Freddie and Jo-Jo both are still in love with each other but they dont know what to do with that love. The timeline in the story is unique.
The author also mentioned a thing or two about certain mental illnesses, broken families and kids dealing with their broken parents. The best part is the author wrote this story inspired by some true events in his own life. An entertaining book. The pace felt a little slow in between the pages but the story as a whole is very sweet.

You can find Gen curled up reading paranormal romance and romantic thrillers or frantically typing her stories on her laptop.
Forensic psychology is her trade by day, teaching and molding the minds of college students. Her interest in psychology can be seen in her books, each including many psychological undertones. Although she loves teaching, her passion, her true love, lies in the stories that roam around in her head. Yes, they all come from her mind–the good, the bad, and the totally insane.
Gen Ryan is an international best-selling author in multiple sub genres within romance. She lives in Massachusetts–no, not Boston–with her husband, daughter, and American Eskimo dog named Chewbacca. With each story she shares, she hopes her love for writing and storytelling seeps through, encompassing the reader and leaving them wanting more.
Lean Against This Late Hour by Garous Abdolmalekian is divine. I am literally trying to come up with a word that might precisely explain the way I’m feeling right now, after reading this book. I’ve read thousands of books but this one is out of this world. Each and every poem is a master piece. If the poems are so beautiful after being translated to English, I can only imagine how wonderful they would be like in the originally written Persian language. Idra Novey and Ahmad Nadalizadeh did a great job with the translation. I completed reading this book in just an hour and I re-read immediately. I cried after I finished reading the poems.
The author has described the current world where we are residing in an excellent way. Anyone who reads these poems will be a transformed person. I feel like I was reborn after reading them. I really am not allowed to say more but my heart is so full right now. I am in love with the poet.
I feel honored to be able to read this book. Thank you so much Penguin Random House Publications for sharing the Advance Reviewers Copy with me. The book is going to be published in April, 2020. I suggest every single human being to read this book without any age limit.
