Intimidating and living by a strong code of ethics, Table’s integrity is unwavering, as is his ironclad will when it comes to safeguarding those he cares about. He’s the man to guard your back, shelter you in time of need, and be the shield.
Just don’t ever lie to him.
Table’s life is turned upside down when he unexpectedly discovers he’s a dad. Trying to navigate his life as a single father to a baby girl, he takes a break from his Dragon Runners MC brothers, moving to the family farm.
When Table meets nomadic Lori, who trades work on the farm for rent, he’s as intrigued as he is wary. She’s a woman who wears her attitude like armor. And despite her fierce independence, Table can see the fear dancing in the shadows of her eyes. It’s enough to make him look that little bit closer.
With the support of his MC brothers, Table not only is reminded that family is more than blood, but that some women are just worth fighting for.

Table by ML Nystrom is a wonderful book just like the previous three books in the series. ML Nystrom never seizes to surprise me with her wonderful narration. The best thing about her books is every single book from her pen has a very strong female lead character. I totally wanted to read the story of Table when his name came up in the second book Stud. I’m glad the author wrote it for fans like me. Lori is trying to hide from a terrible past when she bumps into the handsome single father Table. Lori finds herself in love with Table’s daughter, little Angel and Table, too. Table understands her fears and makes sure of Lori’s safety and fights for her. The story is very engaging. Table is a wonderful person, who keeps his promises and stands in the way of danger to protect his family. I was not much into MC romance stories previously, but after reading ML Nystrom’s books, I think I’ve changed my mind. I’m totally in love with Table. I hope there are more such wonderful stories coming from the author.
Breaking the Rules by Emma Leigh Reed is a wonderful book. The female lead character, Isabelle seems very weak at the very beginning of the novel. The reader will be surprised to see the transformation of Isabelle by the end of it. She attempts a suicide and fails in it. She feels out of place while with her parents. When she falls in love with Jack, she finds happiness in his company but pushes him away thinking that she doesn’t deserve to be happy.
Isabelle finds a new job and moves to a different place after her heartbreak. She continues living in a shell afraid of causing herself yet, another heartbreak. The whole story changes when she meets Nick accidentally. Her walls start cracking around Nick and her fears kick in forcing her to push Nick away. Nick stands like a rock and helps her in fighting with her demons of past and fears about the future.
With the new found strength, Isabelle sets out to find out about her family secrets. The story is very engaging. I like how Isabelle finally forgives herself for her mistakes in the past and gives herself another chance at the future. The author did a great job. The story was very easy to read and in some parts, I could see myself in Isabelle. This is a very good read for young adults but I’m sure anyone would totally enjoy this book. I really hope the author is planning to write a sequel to this book sometime soon.
Stay is the second book I’ve read from the author Jennifer Silverwood. The best thing about the author is that the books are very easy to read. The characters, setting and details are very natural.. it doesn’t feel like they are parts of her imagination. The book feels very real though this is not a regular fiction.
I fell in love with the female lead Orona from the first chapter itself. I tried to give her life in my imagination but every time I read another detailing about her appearance; I feel that I’ve failed to imagine her right. I loved how Orona accepted the curse from her lover Seid and walked the earth for two thousand years testing and protecting true love.
This is a kind of supernatural romance fiction which doesn’t feel artificial. The male lead Cain is an interesting character. He is very much hurt when his girlfriend Lissa breaks his heart and leaves him for another rich guy. Orona is assigned the job of bringing back Cain and Lissa. But Orona falls in love with Cain since he is very much like Seid. Orona starts feeling Cain’s love and loves him in return though she knows its not in the rulebook. She faces a huge conflict about her love for Cain and her job of bringing Cain and Lissa together. The story is about what she chooses to do by the end.
I very much enjoyed this story. All the supernatural powers of Orona, Cain’s love, Orona’s past, Lissa’s guilt, everything make the story very engaging. Its an out and out entertainment. I couldn’t put down the book until I hit the last page. The story is beautifully written and succeeds in engaging the reader completely.

Mrs Murray’s Ghost by Emily-Jane Hills is a cute story. I volunteered to read the ARC copy and review it. I wouldn’t call it a horror story because, after reading this book, I started believing that ghosts can be friendly too given a chance. It’s kind of a fairytale with brownies, friendly ghosts and a dream world with witches, dragons and many more. I totally enjoyed the fantasy world. I wouldn’t mind reading this story to my daughter. The story revolves around a 10 year old girl named Mary. When her family moves into a huge mansion-like house, they experience strange banging and unusual activity in their home. Mary meets her brownie friends who are stuck in the same house for over centuries far away from their homeland. Mary is the person who is going to rescue them and help Mrs. Murray, too.
When Mary falls ill, her brownie friends and Mrs. Murray’s ghost enter Mary’s dream world to help her get better. The story is very engaging. The characters are well established. It’s a fresh flavor to read. This is a book for almost all age groups. I totally enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to my friends.
